Kostivere production

Our production plant is located in Kostivere, Estonia. The main produce is various meat products mainly meant for dogs. Products selection varies from frozen meatballs to snacks to wet dog food. Additionally there is a hydroponic gardening system which allows us to offer leafy greens throughout the year. Our green produce is meant for rabbits, various rodents and reptiles.

Our Kostivere production complex is located 20 km away from Tallinn. The production set includes manufacturing rooms, several freezers, office and shipping container for our hydroponic farm. The main produce is various meat products mainly meant for dogs. Products selection varies from frozen meatballs to snacks to wet dog food.

We have developed our recipes based mainly on BARF diet principles meaning that our products are simple, including various parts of an animal and high in vitamins and minerals. We have researched and tested various recipes and products and our product range includes only carefully selected few that have proven to truly be tasty and good for your pet. There is constant work on new products as well.

Our raw produce comes mainly from various local farmers. We use human grade produce in our pet foods meaning that the types of ingredients, regulatory oversight, sanitation methods, and processing that are used, is the same as for food production for humans. This insures that the product will be safer and of greater nutritional quality than other foods that do not carry a human-grade claim.

Farm Pet Food's production complex in Estonia includes a state of the art hydroponic farming system which is set up inside of a shipping container which allows us to offer leafy greens throughout the year. We are growing various salads and other plants for bunnies, rodents and reptiles. All of these plants are freshly available in our stores.

Our team

We have an experienced and knowledgeable team working in Kostivere. Our product development manager, Aram, has a PHD in chemistry and gene technology and a vast experience in product development of pet foods. Our production manager Kaja has a long experience in food industry knowing all the specifics that go into food production. Our technical manager Marek is making sure that all of our manufacturing equipment is working well.
